PATCHES, 1 year old Calico (female)
Spayed, Vaccinated, FIV & Feline Leukemia Negative
The following was written by the woman who rescued Patches-
Patches is very very healthy. No cat diseases, worms, mites etc. She is up to date on her shots and spayed.
Personality wise: she is sweet. When she sees that it is me she talks to me all of the time and if I coax her to one area of the room she loves having her head scratched and coat petted. She just purrs and purrs. She loves whisker lickens soft chicken treats and eats Iams cat food and water. If I am outside she sits inside the window sill and watches the world go by. She loves playing with her toy mousers and every once in awhile I hear her scurrying about upstairs. She is playful and I believe would make a wonderful pet if only given the opportunity to relax in a home.
I have now kept Smuckers and Patches completely separated; one upstairs, the other downstairs and separated by a door. Previously, if Smuckers could sneak up there she would terrorize Patches and now I don't believe Patches could ever be comfortable in this home with Smuckers. Patches is actually the bigger of the two cats but much sweeter andn more timid. Patches has shown no aggression ever....even when caged and only hissed a handful of times when we first brought her home from the vet after her spaying. Since we brought Patches home, Smuckers has become very agressive with my children and doing all sorts of acting out behaviors.
Patches, Calico Cat is not the problem and never has been. Smuckers our "older" cat has been the trouble in sharing her territory.

My Name is “Patches” and I need a Home. I was rescued from the cold last winter and I have been living “indoors” for the past 8 months. I am about 1 years old, spayed, up to date on my shots, healthy and looking for a family that can keep me. You see I am very sweet, but shy. The family that rescued me has a Female Cat who isn’t sweet or shy and causing lots of problems. So, we’d like to find me a home, with or without a cat, who will love me. I am very good at using my litter box and scratching post. My only downside is I take a long time to warm up and I do frighten easily. But, I like to be petted, particularly on the head and behind the ears. If you think you have a home for me please call 440-617-9594. Thanks!
